He didn't know at all

find out what the star's called

He found an app
and it's called (Arcturus)

He looks around (Arcturus)
What does he see
He sees the star (Arcturus)
and it's called Arcturus

Curious my uncle was
to see how long this light had spent
travelling from all the way
over there out in space

He used an app
and it's called
Google Chrome
He finds the answer
What is it though
The answer is
About 36.6 years

This just so happens to be
the time difference between
myself and my uncle's ages
or rather our exact quantified stages
of life
at any given moment in time
approximately at least
Now it's time to go off-piste

As my uncle sat there watching at the pictures the film
light escaped from Arcturus

When that light arrives
I'll be the same age that my uncle was
when he sat there at the pictures watching that film that he watched the day he watched that film

The day he watched that film
A day that has been spent
A day that's lost to time
Along with all those other days
